Responsibilities
- Building relationships with customers
- Providing customers with solutions to correct their problems
- Following up with customers on bids and closing the sale
- Conducting pre-construction site visits
- Project scope development
- Writing specifications
- Estimating
- Budgeting
- Obtaining subcontract proposals
- Issuing subcontracts
- Project scheduling
- Field operations
- Staking/layout
- Enforcing safety practices
- Project management
- Material procurement
- Contract negotiations
- Project status updates to clients
- Document management
- Processing material submittals
- Maintaining project documentation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Construction Management Degree preferred.
- Strong work ethic with a desire to succeed.
- A demonstrated ability to lead people and manage projects.
- Valid driver license.
- Relatively clean motor vehicle report. (Applicants w/ a drug or alcohol driving offense in the last five years will not be considered. Other violations will be evaluated using our insurance company standards.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Ability to work 40 – 50 hours a week.
