Is a company with leadership that has a long history of significant, heavy civil and infrastructure construction experience in the Northeast United States.  Our focus on superior customer satisfaction while providing safe, quality, timely and cost effective solutions for our clients is paramount to the success of The Wesson Group.  The Wesson Group, LLC is currently recruiting for Interns for their projects throughout New York State.  This is a full-time, hourly position.

The goal of our internship program is to immerse you in many phases of completing a successful project including, but not limited to:

• Working with the Project Engineers to develop and submit RFI’s and required submittals
• Tracking of project costs, quantities and Subcontractors performance
• Assist with material resourcing, implementation and distribution of procurement documents
• Assist the Superintendent with the daily execution of project activities and support overall construction schedule.
• Represent the Company in conjunction with the Superintendent and/or the Project Manager, during project progress meetings.
• Supporting of the contract requirements as well as the overall project schedule.
• Perform additional assignments on site

Qualifications for a successful Intern:

• Working toward a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent writing and communication skills required
• Must have own transportation
