We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Mid-Level to Senior Environmental Professionals with 5 to 15 years’ experience to contribute to the expansion of our Sydney teams.
You will be joining a diverse team of highly qualified professionals, which include industry leaders in soil and groundwater remediation, contaminant fate and transport and soil vapour intrusion. You will be collaboratively delivering projects for clients who own some of the most challenging sites in the country.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and project profitability;
- Preparation and delivery of factual and interpretive reports and documents consistent with applicable regulatory guidelines with the support of more senior staff;
- Work plan development and data evaluation;
- Data analysis, including preparing maps and figures;
- Complete interpretive tasks such as interpretation of results from groundwater monitoring, remediation performance monitoring, hydrogeological testing, or other environmental site assessments, e.g. soil vapour monitoring.
- Management and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors;
- Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties;
- At times, the job may also require fieldwork including multi-media environmental sampling, sediment sampling and characterisation, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction;

EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science or related field. (required)
- Advanced degree in engineering, geology or environmental science. (preferred)
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Around 5 to 15 years of direct environmental consulting experience. (required)
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)
- Demonstrated success in teamwork. (required)
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. (required)
- Competent with Microsoft Office programs and data management software e.g. Esdat or EQuis (preferred)
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting deadlines and budgets, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
- Valid VIC or NSW driver’s licence and satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
