Kia of Des Moines is seeking a Dispatcher who has excellent Customer Service skills, strong professionalism, establishes customer rapport, and encourages repeat business. Kia makes customer service a top priority so candidates must have a strong attention to detail and maintain a professional appearance.

PURPOSE:

Ensures that repair orders are correctly and efficiently distributed to qualified technicians. Communicates any possible delays in repair assignments directly to supervisor in order to maintain flow for a seamless transition to customer. Calling

Essential Duties Dispatch

· Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.

· Road test vehicles with customers where the situation calls for it.

· Ensures that all repairs are assigned to technicians in an equal and fair manner.

· Provides support for technicians when necessary.

· Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports

· Checks progress of each repair order throughout the day.

· Communicates with Service Management on department performance.

· Monitors shop condition, including cleanliness, safety and the condition of shop equipment. Reports problems to the service manager.

· Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.

· Maintains safe work environment.

Essential Duties BDC

· Answering or making calls to clients to learn about and address their needs, complaints, or other issues with products or services.

· Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions.

· Engaging in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry clients, as needed.

· Perform follow-up calls to all service customers to ensure that they are completely satisfied with their recent work performed.

· Utilizing software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.

· Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company and position.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply
  • Have a valid Iowa Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Will submit to a drug and background screening
