Adolfson & Peterson Construction is hiring for an Applications Support Analyst for our IT function. This role is responsible for administration of construction operations business applications, interfacing with project teams to identify process improvements, and making recommendations to implement application and business process changes, among other responsibilities.

Key Accountabilities of the role include:
- Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture.
- Administer and support core construction operations business applications (ex: Prolog, Unanet, Procore across the organization.
- Address technical software and setup issues for our team members, ensuring effective two-way communication.
- Perform business needs assessments through consultations with management and subject matter experts, including field and office teams.
- Perform root cause analysis where applicable.
- Determine appropriate technical solutions to identified issues.
- Create technical and operating documentation that reflects business needs.
- Participate in refining existing business processes and developing new business processes to increase efficiencies, effectiveness, and productivity in construction operations and supporting activities, including reducing risk and enhancing consistency of outcomes.
- Create, edit, and maintain technical materials, including business process descriptions, standard operating procedures, training and operations manuals, and other related materials in accordance with prescribed company standards and to ensure clear communication of business processes.
- Work with Manager of Project Applications to provide strategic leadership and direction in the selection, uses, and maintenance of construction operations business applications and systems to address the defined strategic project management needs of the company.

- Work with business partners to maintain the integrity of construction operations business applications systems and data, including recommending improvement to detailed processes and applications.
- In conjunction with business partners, manage the development, documentation, and deployment of best practices for construction operations business applications on a company-wide basis.
- Maintain, and manage IT policies and procedures related to construction operation business-facing applications to achieve best practices in support, implementation, and oversight of data and reporting.
- In consultation with business partners, ensure that construction operations business application acquisitions align with the goals of the business, are effectively tested and implemented, and upgrades are managed, including testing procedures and development to production migration.
- Document construction operations business-facing application configuration.
- Continuously improve the process for approving, prioritizing, and scheduling requests, enhancements, and projects as requested by the business.
- In collaboration with the Director of Business Intelligence and Manager of Project Applications, design and implement construction execution reporting/dashboards based on strategic organizational goals, end user feedback, and project team requirements.
- Work with Manager of Project Applications to manage vendor relationships, service commitments, and licensing related to construction operations business-facing applications and IT services.

- Manage vendor performance and quality of all service level agreements and contracts.
- Manage required software licensing and ensure proper compliance across the company on number of and usages of all licenses.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- History of progressively more responsible experience and proven results including:
- Minimum of an Associate degree is preferred along with 2+ years experience in construction-specific application support or as an end user working with construction applications, or a combination of experience and education.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, O365, Windows 10, and various handheld
- Strong customer support
- Ability to quickly and correctly diagnosis and problem solve
- History of progressively more responsibility in a construction related field, application support, or process design and re-engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical, project management, and decision-making skills.
- Organizational change management experience a plus.
- Ability to think critically and creatively.
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under time constraints.
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build successful and lasting working relationships.
- Knowledge of construction industry processes, procedures, and terminology preferred.
- Familiarity with data warehouse, data integration, reporting tools, and concepts.
