Requirements

  1. Experienced in steel and/or aluminum fabrication of miscellaneous metals including stairs, railing, ladders, gates, etc.
  2. Welding certification a plus.

Installing Steel Products in Various Settings

  1. Installation of miscellaneous metals
  2. Rigging of equipment, working with cranes
  3. Hanging and setting steel products of all sizes
  4. Scissor lift, and Forklift operation
  5. Receives instructions from supervisor.
  6. Abides by all OSHA and Agar/Houck safety guidelines.
  7. Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Physical Demands

Physical demands are based on the ability to perform the following actions throughout a 9 hour period of work 5 days a week.

  1. Exert oneself physically over long periods of time.
  2. Bend stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, and other extremities.
  3. Use one’s abdominal muscles and lower back to lift continuously over time without fatiguing.
  4. Exert maximum muscle force to lift, pull, or carry objects.
  5. Keep or regain one’s body balance or to stay upright.
  6. Quickly move the arms and legs.
  7. Make fast and repeated movements of the body, fingers and hands.
  8. Exert muscle force repeatedly.
  9. Keep the hand and arm steady while making a movement.
  10. Quick, coordinated movements of one hand to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects.
  11. Coordinate movements of two or more limbs together while sitting, standing, or lying down.
  12. Stand and walk throughout an extended workday.

Work Environment

Shop and field to include new construction, existing buildings, residential, etc.

 

Position Type

Full-Time/Regular Hours Monday through Friday, 7AM – 4PM

Required Education and Experience

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
