You are responsible for maintaining RAM Construction Services' standard of excellence and delivering projects with the utmost attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Estimators, Project Managers & Superintendents to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Assist in the preparation of job estimates, and compile data to assist in analyzing project progress
  • Recommends and/or analyzes materials, and equipment used in the project
  • Offer technical information to project managers and superintendents to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate change orders, expedite material and job site equipment
  • Inspect all work to assure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Collaborates with the team to identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications:

  • Minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field of study
  • 1-2 years of experience in project management, project engineering, or project planning experience (scope, schedule, cost, quality) desired
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • The ability to work with multiple projects and rapidly shifting priorities
  • Experience  and understanding of project management and job estimating
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • A valid driver’s license

Travel: Travel to and from job sites is required. RAM will compensate for travel expenses if applicable.                         

Work Environment: As a Project Engineer for RAM, the employee will be subject to both an office and Jobsite/field setting. Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, and areas close to traffic.
