Job Summary

The Account Executive will be responsible for assisting the Director of Sales to implement the ticketing strategy for the organization of a professional sports franchise by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.

This is a confidential employee and must be able to safeguard information that is deemed confidential by the company and management.

Assist in the administration of all advanced ticket sales activities, including the development of the season ticket, packages and group sales as well as renewal activities.

Assist with the ticket administration program for all advanced ticket sales including renewal activities, contract processing, account list reporting, relocation and upgrade activities ticket printing, certificate printing and management for charities.

Exhibit strong communication to handle all season ticket holder services.

Actively sell season tickets, packages, suite rentals and group tickets.

Assist in daily game day ticket sales and operations of the ticket window activities, hold and release activities of groups and processing of all phone orders.

Assist with the coordination and communication with the food and beverage manager on all group picnic events.

Assist in the development and execution of mass mailings and email campaigns.

Participate in all promotional meetings.

Implement sound fiscal and financial management practices, including annual budgeting and oversight related to accounting provided by the NEBCO Corporate Office.

Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships through networks, social networks, referral gathering and personal data management.

The Account Executive will assist the General Manager in all business matters related to the success of the franchise.

Experience/Education

  • Related college education and two to three years of marketing, special events, promotions work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Experience in both acquiring new accounts and managing existing accounts. 

  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and negotiate creative solutions. 

  • Previous work experience in a professional sports environment would be very helpful.

Working Conditions

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.  In the stadium area the noise level can get very loud.  The facility is a professional baseball environment. 

It is very important that the employee be able to meet commitments and a flexible work schedule.  

This is a tobacco free campus.
