We are seeking an experienced and visionary Structural Wood Component/Timberframe Production Manager to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team.
Position Summary:
As the Production Manager, you will spearhead the production and team management of our expanding timberframe division. Working closely with the Production Officer, you will establish ambitious goals, metrics, and cross-department alignment to drive our company's success.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and organize training programs to maximize production results, elevate individual skills, and cultivate a cohesive and high-performing team.
- Collaborate with master craftsmen and team members to maintain the highest levels of quality and spearhead ongoing innovation in our structural wood component manufacturing practices.
- Conduct engaging team meetings, inspire personnel, and adeptly manage conflict resolution when necessary.
- Oversee and manage staff and schedules, including temporary personnel. This includes coordinating crews traveling nationwide and serving as the point-of-contact for job captains working on-site.
- Optimize staff and resource allocation to exceed company goals, fostering efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Implement best practices, optimize material flows, and drive waste reduction initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for introducing new equipment and processes to enhance cost-effective efficiencies.
- Work closely with the Safety Coordinator to ensure proper training and adherence to established safety practices.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, coordinating tasks to achieve time management and production goals.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in wood component production.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred.
- 3-5 years of management experience required.
- Demonstrated experience aligning production capabilities with company financial goals.
- Proven track record of effective people management, including goal-setting, performance check-ins, training, and development.
Skills:
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Adaptable and accustomed to meeting deadlines and performing under pressure.
- Exceptional independent problem-solving abilities and skill in delegation of responsibilities.
- Possesses a diplomatic, hands-on management style.

Compensation & Benefits:
