Wouldn't you love to help Brandon keep their parks beautiful?  We are looking for one more person to mow the grass in the Brandon Parks.  You'll get to operate a zero-turn riding mower and/or a tractor with a flail mower.  The City of Brandon, SD seeks an individual to join our Parks and Recreation Department for the Summer of 2023 and potentially into fall as well.  

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools, methods and materials used

In addition, we prefer the following:

• Previous mowing experience or ability to operate tractors or similar equipment is helpful
• Experience in manual, semi-skilled work including operating a variety of equipment
• knowledge of small engines and equipment repair

Must be available weekly throughout the season approximately 8-10 hours each week - These hours may vary due to weather conditions
