Alloy Group was formed in 2018 out of six separate businesses, including Copper Environmental Consulting, the engineering and consulting division of Alloy.  This division is made up of engineers and scientists who tailor their expertise to meet the needs of all clients, large and small, including some of the largest mining and industrial customers in the country.  Alloy is a full-service national construction, demolition and engineering consulting powerhouse.

Summary

This is a leadership position responsible for expanding Alloy operations in Arizona, and the Rocky Mountain West to include managing client relations, business development and program management growth and development.  The successful candidate will increase the company’s presence in the Arizona market, as well as Montana, Colorado, Nevada, and Idaho.  The overarching goal is to improve Alloy’s top-line results and create a consistently positive experience for new and existing customers. The successful applicant must possess an advanced amount of technical skill, advanced business acumen and highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

   Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing a marketing strategy
  • Creating new business opportunities with new and existing customers in the Western US Market.
  • Maintaining a very positive and intimate relationship with current, new and potential customers.
  • Responsible for sales/margin/profit growth.
  • Contributing to Corporate strategic growth via the development, coordination, submission, and execution of multiyear business plans.
  • Recruiting staff as necessary to accomplish goals.
  • Ensuring that the highest level of ethical, safety and quality standards are met in all that we do.
  • Develop and lead people, promote Alloy’s strong culture and lead employee engagement.
  • Act as a spokesperson and business leader for Alloy when interacting with clients and other Alloy professionals.

Required Qualifications and Education

A combination of an advanced degree in a relevant technical field or business, and 10+ years’ experience in:

  • Environmental services, remediation, planning, permitting, natural resources, or air quality.
  • Management of large projects and programs.
  • Engineering consulting.
  • People management and leadership development.
  • Experience with mining, water and natural resources and contaminated site assessment.
  • Experience working with clients in the private and public sectors.

Preferred Skills, Education & Requirements

  • M.S. or B.S. in related field, P.E. if engineering background.
  • Experience managing professional services, P&L a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000 - $160,000 annual, DOE
