Progressive Solutions, LLC formed through the merger of two specialized vegetation management companies in the South. The leadership of these companies brought to the merger decades of expertise in herbicide application methods, both labor-intensive and mechanical, for the utility and forestry industries.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Directs the Temporary Clerk for the Central Region
  • Assumes responsibility for all new hire paperwork and procedures
  • Keeps an inclusive hard copy filing system on all contracts submitted and/or awarded
  • Keeps up to date contract spreadsheet including: contract notification status, customer numbers, contract numbers, and insurance status
  • Submits contract invoicing after completion
  • Provides information to client as requested by Regional or Area Managers, refers questions and issues to appropriate staff/managers for problem resolution
  • Responsible for DOT requirements, training Temporary Clerk on procedures and checking logs books/time sheets for irregularities
  • Become proficient in the Field Reporting System (FRS) to maintain proper records that will include but not limited to: Printing and emailing State Reports, Contract Circuit Mileage, Applicator’s License Numbers, etc.
  • Requests bid and/or contractor bonds
  • Supervises the ordering and maintaining of office supplies
  • Supervises the ordering and maintaining of operational supplies as directed by Regional and Area managers
  • Keeps Progressive Solution’s commercial application licensing and equipment data bases up to date and correct
  • Handles all commercial license scheduling and/or reciprocating
  • May act as a liaison for office locations and maintenance issues
  • Answers phones and routes calls
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Can maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Able to write, read and comprehend written and verbal job instructions/information.
  • Must be able to communicate with others.
  • Able to multi-task and produce in a high paced team oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Organized, detail oriented and follows-through.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Pre-Screen

  • Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.

License & Certifications:

  • Driver's License Required.
