Keystone Engineering is currently seeking experienced Civil/Structural Designers to join our team.
Position Type: Full-time
Location: Houston, TX
Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary
Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required
Essential Functions:
- Constructability, operability, and maintainability of the project design.
- Carry out site surveys, gather information per job scope (with or without client), walk down drawings, and recognize tie points, field routing piping, tray supports, etc.
- Work with Lead Designers and Engineering to complete project deliverables.
- Development of design configurations associated with the various systems that apply.
- Providing comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into the design.
- Preparation of detailed design drawings, in accordance with engineering design, required as project deliverables.
- Maintaining a Job Data Book which contains all the pertinent information used during project design.
- Prepares and/or directs the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal relative to all project deliverables.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 - 20 years of working experience
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D - grading and plan/profiles
- Experience with AutoCAD Advance Steel
- Field / Walk-down experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate
- Attention to detail
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Experience Preferred:
- Associates degree in CAD
- Previous O&G experience
- Advance Steel Software
