HK Solutions Group is seeking an Accounting Specialist to be based out of our Des Moines, IA office.
The Accounting Specialist will have general responsibilities for accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, general ledger account reconciliation and other tasks and projects as assigned.
Job Duties:
- Create customer invoices, verify costs, determine sales tax.
- Post customer receipts, resolve discrepancies and contact past due accounts.
- Assist with Sales Tax returns.
- Code and enter accounts payable.
- Issue purchase orders
- Print, code, and match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation and enter into ERP.
- Prepare general ledger entries, maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts.
- Maintain accurate and organized records and pull documentation to support internal inquiries or external auditors.
Required Education & Experience:
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field or 2 years Accounting experience in lieu of degree
- Knowledge of computers and the ability to utilize various software packages (Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook)
Physical: Use of computer and office equipment. Performs all administrative functions expected at this level.
