What we are looking for:
 
The Superintendent will lead the Field Operations and work in partnership with our Project Management team to build a safe, high quality, profitable project.  
 
Responsibilities:
  • Leads the development of the project schedule with the Project Manager and ensures the team is executing to the plan
  • Sets, communicates and enforces production goals and schedules with the crews
  • Implements effective cost controls over labor, material, and equipment
  • Manages and develops Foremen
  • Manages equipment on the project and promotes a culture of equipment care
  • Ensures accurate documentation
  • Manages Subcontractors
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience within the Heavy Civil Market (Infrastructure preferred)
  • Experience with running self-performed earthwork
  • Experience with mass excavation and grading 
  • Expert knowledge of various areas of construction (structures, piles, bridges, earthwork, utilities) 
  • Proven leadership and management experience
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and people skills a must.
