Mechanical, Electrical; Plumbing Project Manager (MEPPM)

The MEPPM’s main responsibility is to interact with the property management and mechanical trades teams to support and supervise the service team and maintain the client needs with in plumbing, HVAC and electrical. This individual manages the mechanical trades team members, measure and analyze work performances, proposes improvements to processes, including customer service interaction (complaints and requests). This professional is responsible to enable value for customers through mechanical trades services. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide all activities of the mechanical trades team
  • Communicate clearly, show recognition, and build rapport with employees.
  • Ensure team follows best practices and maintain service level agreements
  • Monitors department issues and client complaints
  • Develop problem management and service improvement plans
  • Offer customer service support in selling, estimating, and scheduling work within plumbing, heating, and electrical services
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Ability to learn work order management and accounting software
  • Familiar with use of iPad, iPhone, and laptop or desktop computer
  • Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar, Excel & Word
  • Maintain current licenses; acquire others as needed for the corporation
  • Maximize billable time; minimize overhead time of team members
  • Help to develop and optimize inventory system that supports efficiency, off-hours capabilities and is profitable
  • Create and optimize systems
  • Optimize department vehicles 
  • Management of on-call list, on-call service, and on-call hours for trades team.

Knowledge and fluent use of the following software programs: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project; Adobe Reader (including editing PDF documents) and willing to learn our construction accounting software and client database software.
