As a key member of the leadership Team, the Director of Sales equally talented working with numbers and people using forecasting to develop sales strategies and help carry our company into the future. We are seeking a candidate who has a passion for growing and developing talent and innovative business solutions in the building automation technology, HVAC construction and service industry.

Summary of Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 8 including HVAC building automation sales representatives, service and maintenance sales representatives and a sales estimator with teams in Virginia and Pennsylvania
- Develop and drive key sales strategies or initiatives
- Participate in strategic account planning
- Set monthly and annual sales goals motivating the sales teams to achieve their individual and department goals
- Plan and direct sales and support programs to promote new markets, improve competitive position in existing markets, and maintain fast and efficient customer services.
- Review and update competitive compensation plan to include commission and incentive plans
- Represents CCI at trade association meetings, customer promotions, etc. to promote Company products and programs.
- Review, update and monitor standardized KPI’s in relation to sales performance and margin.
- Assist sales representatives with estimates, negotiation and closing deals.
- Review sales proposals for accuracy and provide feedback and advice
- Attend turnover meetings with the Operations team and lead post-mortem meetings
- Outline and manage sales budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or an industry-relevant field
- MBA (strongly preferred)
- Professional experience with high-profile sales
- Experience with CRM software
- Analytical skills
- Leadership skills
- Prior Experience with large commercial construction projects
- Proven ability to gain trust and maintain a collaborative and supportive leadership presence throughout all parts of the organization.
- Prior experience supporting recruitment, hiring, and onboarding efforts as appropriate to develop an exceptional team.
- Foster a collaborative culture that enhances employee satisfaction, engagement, and results-orientation while encouraging innovation and creativity.
- Provide time for regular and effective 1 on 1 meetings with all direct reports.
