We are currently searching for an Warehouse Clerk to provide support and assistance for the Small Tools and Light Equipment team within Morgan Corp.'s Equipment Division.  Key areas of support include communication & collaboration, organizational skills, decision making, and record keeping. Primary responsibilities also include organization of the yard and shop, pulling orders, checking equipment in, staying up to date on calibrations, handling PPE, assist in parts run, and assisting drivers so they can get off the yard quickly.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive vendor deliveries.
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, email, and mail.
  • Support team by performing assigned tasks with high quality in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as needed.
  • Provide assistance when non-routine tasks arise.
  • Must be willing to make independent decisions.
  • When uncertainty arises, seek guidance.
  • Maintain all calibration records – notify of all upcoming calibrations.
  • Maintain inventory of small tools, PPE, and light equipment
  • Take clear notes, set deadlines, and be accountable for ongoing projects.
  • Responsible for documenting processes to facilitate recurring duties.
  • Responsible for pulling equipment for upcoming orders, checking equipment back in and assessing condition for maintenance.
  • Responsible for maintaining warehouse organization and inventory locations
  • Responsible for performing yard maintenance and organizational tasks
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and getting the driver off the yard quickly.
  • Organizing all PPE and keeping inventory stocked.

 

Qualifications:

  • 1 - 2 years warehouse experience, preferably in equipment rental
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast paced constantly changing environment

 

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, grasp, reach with hands and arms, see, speak, and hear. Frequently stand and walk. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or bend. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Most work is performed in office environment.
