Keystone Engineering is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our Metairie/Mandeville team.
Position Type: Full-time
Location: Metairie/Mandeville, LA
Work Environment: Office
Physical Demands: Sedentary
Travel Requirements: Occasionally site visits required.
Essential Functions:
- Performs basic engineering calculations, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
- Applies engineering principles with direction from his/her supervisor.
- Interfaces with other technical disciplines, vendors, and contractors.
- Interfaces with Drafting to provide any required information and reviews Drafting’s work.
- Prepares specifications detailing performance requirements, design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements with direction from his/her supervisor.
- Assists in assembling all project information into the project files.
- Participates in site visits with more experienced engineers and/or designers.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution.
- 0-5 years of experience.
- Eager to learn and grow professionally.
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate.
