Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring that workers are safe in their working environment and that machines are running safely and working efficiently.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Report low part inventories to the supervisor
- Clean up any area in which work is being performed and discard all old parts properly
- Perform machine repairs and PMs properly
- Be able to work with chemicals when necessary
- Able to research and order parts
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
Education/Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Some background experience is preferred - on the job training is performed

Work Environment: Ear protection is required in production areas. Must wear hair/beard net in designated areas. May work extended hours or days to complete production.

- Regularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, see, and hear
- Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel and squat; Occasionally required to sit and climb
- Occasionally lift/carry objects < 50 lbs.
- Occasionally push/pull < 50 lbs.
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Status: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Salary: $70,000 - 90,000/yr.
Work Schedule: M-F and Frequent Saturdays, 6 pm – 4 am; extended days and hours as needed. Will start on day shift (Mon-Fri, 7 am – 6 pm) for 6 months until training is complete then move to nights.
