Primary Duties

The ideal candidate will create, update, and modify AutoCAD drawings for millwright and concrete construction projects. The drafter will be required to create both 2-D and 3-D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Advance Steel. Will need to be able to handle complex design draft assignments with minimal supervision.

  • Skills, Qualifications, and Education Requirements
    • Critical thinking skills
    • Create CAD drawings for new projects from written and verbal specifications
    • Incorporate existing structure and system information into new drawing as an addition or to alter existing system to customer specs
    • Copy project drawings
    • Create layout drawings
    • Must be able to explain drawing to field personnel
    • Use existing survey information to create new drawings
    • Majority of work will be on construction projects dealing with foundations, grain bins, metal buildings, concrete buildings, and millwright equipment
    • Experience in agricultural system design preferable, not required
    • AutoCAD Drafter Certification, preferred
    • Associates, Bachelors, or equivalent experience in Construction Design/AutoCAD certification
