We are currently seeking a Low Voltage Technician based out of Roanoke, VA.
Travel will be required depending on project assignments.

Position Overview
The Low Voltage Technician performs preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of structured cabling, fire alarm systems, CCTV/IP video, access control, and other low-voltage systems. Travel is expected based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, program, and commission low‑voltage systems including access control, CCTV/IP video, structured cabling, and related technologies
- Clearly communicate system status, updates, and needs with team members
- Work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision
- Set goals, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial low‑voltage cabling and installation
- Willing to train the right applicant
- Effective communication skills and strong computer proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet background requirements
- Programming experience preferred

- Proper and safe use of tools and equipment

Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- May require driving or riding in a vehicle for extended periods
- Outdoor work may involve varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Frequent use of hands, tools, and equipment
- Ability to sit, stand, climb, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and performing labor in challenging field conditions
- May be exposed to typical construction materials and chemicals (safety data sheet knowledge required)
