We are seeking a Market Research Operations Project Director (PD), with approximately 3+ years of relevant experience or advanced education, who will support our work and grow with us. The PD is responsible for managing and coordinating the data collection procurement and project execution activities for online research projects utilizing SSRS’s probability panel via external sample partners.  Ideal candidates are curious, thoughtful, detail-oriented, have a sense of humor and a love of all things data would be great, too. 

Ideal candidates are based in our Glen Mills, PA office but remote work is a possibility for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review data collection specifications and provide consultation to account team during cost estimating process
  • Secure sample and data collection cost estimates from internal and external partners, and present findings and recommendations to account team
  • Manage vendor relationships with sample and data collection partners supporting all data collection modes
  • Ensure project execution plans, cost estimates, and delivery schedules are aligned with Client specifications
  • Attend project kickoff meetings, and include external partners, to ensure all involved parties understand timelines, responsibilities, budgets, and study specifications
  • Monitor sample, quotas, and field schedules for live projects; Maintain ongoing communications with internal staff and external data collection partners
  • Compare rates and incidences to estimates, and proactively address discrepancies; Escalate to Management when dispute is unresolved
  • Provide daily/weekly rate/incidence updates for all assigned projects
  • Assist in the delivery of interim and final data files
  • Review and approve invoices from external partners
  • Follow standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with SSRS “Best Practices”
  • Assist with creation of proprietary panel builds for SSRS clients
  • Other duties as the needs of the business dictate

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, social science, business or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of data collection processes within survey research environment
  • 3+ years’ experience in online survey research data collection
