Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an entry level Drafter to join our team.

Position Type: PRN "as needed"

Location: Port Arthur

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary

Travel Requirements:  Occasional site visits required

Responsibilities:

• Prepares drawings relative to project requirements and/or deliverables as directed by designers
• Responsible for making revisions to existing drawings, for all disciplines, per markups furnished by engineering or designers
• Capable of making site visits to help designers and engineers gather field information
• Develops an understanding of drawings for all disciplines
• Develops an understanding of project responsibilities with respect to specific task deliverables
• Develops an awareness of project schedule and budget
• Team Player and willing to assist with helping other staff
• Quality First
• Promote safety in all aspects of involvement

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
• Familiar with professional office work environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate
• Punctual, willing to work extra hours
• Attention to detail
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer

Experience Preferred:

• AutoCad, Plant 3D
• Previous Electrical & Instrument experience 
• Intern or previous experience in Petro-Chemical industry
