Overview: The individual that we are seeking would have experience in maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory in our MRP electronic system.  


Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•    Inspect freight upon arrival, document any signs of damage, and resolve freight claims in a timely manner.
•    Verify receipt of purchased goods from suppliers, locate product, process paperwork and complete all necessary transactions according to established procedures.
•    Pick parts and products from appropriate inventory locations in specified quantities as necessary to fill orders by following established procedures.
•    Visually monitor inventory levels and communicate low levels to buyers, planners, and others as necessary.
•    Cycle count inventory according to established guidelines and assist with developing actions to correct inventory problems.
•    Kitting parts from stock
•    Complete inventory transactions to receive and issue inventory as required.
•    Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, overhead crane, and other equipment to move parts to proper locations and load and unload freight trucks as necessary.
•    Properly identify and locate all parts according to established procedures.
•    Build skids and pallets as needed
•    Continually move product through the building, taking and delivering product to the correct landing place.

 

Qualifications
•    Ability to demonstrate mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide
•    Ability to read and follow instructions
•    Ability to work with a team
•    Ability to lift up to 50lbs
•    Ability to stand for 8 hours of the day

Education and/or Experience: 
•    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
