Keystone Engineering is seeking a mid-level Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Port Arthur Office Team.
Position Type: Full-time
Location: Port Arthur, TX
Work Environment: Office/Sedentary
Physical Demands: Occasional Site Visits
Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits to client sites as required to gather field data.
Essential Functions:
- Performs structural analyses, design, and calculations for steel and reinforced concrete structures including deep and shallow foundations.
- Performs as a discipline lead with little guidance.
- Plans work, meets deadlines and controls budget.
- Capable of checking drawings and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with project team members and managers including other disciplines.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and support incoming requests in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. or higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent with a focus on structural.
- 10-12 years of experience in civil/structural engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Experience in the design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, and foundations for industrial facilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
- Applicant must possess a current, valid TWIC card or be capable of obtaining one within 90 days.
Experience Preferred:
- Proficient in RISA 3-D & Risa Foundation.
- Experience working on brownfield projects in industrial complexes such as refinery or petrochemical plants.
- Individuals with 5+ years of experience working towards their P.E. will also be considered.
