All State Fire & Security is looking for a Fire Suppression System Technician to join our team in Buffalo, NY. We are looking for someone who appreciates working with a variety of customers, both internal and external, where the environment is friendly and where there are excellent opportunities to development and advance.
As a Fire System Suppression Technician, you will:
- Inspect, install, troubleshoot, and perform routine systems maintenance on commercial: Kitchen hoods, Fire Sprinkler/Suppression, Paint booths, Fuel Islands, Fire Extinguishers and Fire Alarms.
- Maintain knowledge of local & state fire codes.
- Maintain an inventory of parts, materials & tools, and requisitions replacements as needed.
- Record and document all inspections, tests and work performed using company provided mobile phone.
- Work with minimal supervision
- Provide technical training to End Users and Entry level new hires.
- Perform inspections in accordance with mandated codes and standards.
- Responds to emergency service calls, both during and after regular working hours (on call rotation)
Expected Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior trade experience, at least 2 years, a plus
- Previous experience with the fire protection industry preferred
Starting Pay Range: $24-$25 per hour
