Summary:  

The piping detailer/designer works with the Engineering team to create detailed mechanical piping models, layouts, drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM) reports, and spool drawings.

Primary Duties:  

  • Create detailed mechanical piping models, layouts, and drawings
  • Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) reports
  • Create spool drawings
  • Produce complex geometrical forms
  • Identify design issues
  • Provide virtual simulations in 3D
  • Problem solve with peers and teammates to ensure constructability

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience with strong 3D piping knowledge
  • Process Piping Detailing experience
  • Experience in high-tech tool install process piping systems
  • Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD and 3D Modeling software (Autodesk products preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D software

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in an office environment.

Salary Range - $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year.
