Summary An experienced project manager with at least 2 years of experience in commercial/ industrial construction.  Preference will be given to candidates with industrial and/or structural experience in the Tennessee Valley.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, purchasing materials, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.

Establishes work plan for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.

Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.

Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

Prepares status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required.

Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.

Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

Coordinates project activities with subcontractors.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and two years commercial-industrial construction experience.  Prefer candidates with Pre-Engineered Metal Building experience.

Computer Skills

An individual who has the following systems knowledge is preferred: Vista by Viewpoint Accounting software; Salesforce Contact Management systems and MS Project, WinEst estimating software; BUILD project management software; MS Office.

Other Qualifications 

Must be able to travel as required.
