We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team!

Under general direction, the Project Manager will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating project management activities of designated project(s) ensuring that the goals and objectives of the project(s) are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and requirements.  Must have excellent relationship building, leadership and client management skills.  Must have a deep understanding of project management tools and approaches to managing complex projects.  

  • Requirements: 
    • Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Web Development/Web Design or Engineering or Business or hold a Technical Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent combination of education and minimum 5+ years web development experience).
    • Must have minimum 3+ years of experience as Project Manager. 
    • Must have minimum 2+ years of experience in managing projects/software development utilizing Agile (with SCRUM) 
    • Technically competent with various software programs. Required: Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Working knowledge: SharePoint and OneNote
    • Must possess experience with the following project management activities:
      • Leading process to complete project charter and obtain necessary approvals.
      • Creating and publishing project documents to include project scope, work breakdown structure, risk assessment and response, critical path, time estimates, schedules, and budget projections.
      • Determining resources required to accomplish project objectives.
      • Conducting or participating in stakeholder meetings.
      • Creating and executing plans for communication, change control, quality control, and specific coordination of activities.
      • Oversee execution of project tasks, monitoring performance, creation of burn down charts and solving project slippage and/or constraints in a timely manner.
      • Manage stakeholder expectations, project risk mitigation and solving problems.
      • Control project scope and changes, schedule, budget, and status reporting.
      • Contribute to the overall team effort as needed to accomplish successful project results.
      • Facilitate closeout activities; retrospectives/lessons learned and customer feedback.
    • Candidate must be extremely detail oriented
    • Candidate must have excellent client-facing and internal verbal & written communication skills.
      • Must be able to effectively communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
      • Must be able to proactively build strong working relationships with multiple teams.
  • Preferences:   
    • Project Management Certification; PMP or CAPM or PMI-PBA.
    • Experience in the field of Business Intelligence (BI) technologies. Ability to train and mentor business unit and developer staff with proven BI techniques.
    • Experience with Financial or Engineering or Transportation systems and processes.
