JOB TITLE:                 BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST/TRAINER
SALARY RANGE:       $62,000 - $80,000

LOCATION:                 STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING

 

Summary:  Under general supervision of VP of Strategic Development & Training, develops and maintains DHA operational workflows to assure compliance with Federal and State statue/regulations and DHA policies and procedures, as well as training and improvement of DHA systems (e.g. CRM, Bob.AI, program management software, etc).

  • Provides administration and training to the agency staff for proper utilization of the Voyager software and related programs and operations; monitors the operations to assure the programming provides accurate and accessible data and achieves tactical goals and outcomes.
  • Prepare documentation and develop recommendations.
  • Design and implement tech-based programs to automate routine processes.
  • Learn and process necessary functions in various software platforms used by Agency including CRMs
  • Analyzes and resolves performance problems involving application software packages, not limited to operating systems and associated firmwares.
  • Provides instruction or on-the-job training on basic structures of organization and any related technology updates.
  • Assist in writing routine checklists, procedures for program operations.
  • Supports the relationship between DHA and the constituent population by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with clients, visitors, and DHA staff.
  • Demonstrates effective customer service, communication, cooperativeness, adaptability, and dependability skills.
  • Actively supports and promotes a demonstrated understanding of agency standards and expectations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of DHA organization, operations, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge in workflow analysis and internal control procedures and standards.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software use, installation, and configuration.
  • Knowledge of techniques for setting up and testing PC operating and data communication systems.
  • Knowledge of security systems procedures and access controls.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication equipment and peripheral devices.
  • Skill in effective customer-oriented service techniques.
  • Skill in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Skills in providing technical guidance and training to DHA team members.
  • Skill in installing, configuring and testing system and application level software and upgrades.
  • Skill in analyzing hardware and software related malfunctions and determining effective solutions.

  • Ability to follow safety policies, procedures, practices and regulations;
  • Ability to organize and plan the sequence of tasks necessary to complete job assignments;
  • Ability to identify and evaluate cleaning, supply and equipment needs and solve work related problems.
  • Ability to read and understand MSDS and other related written material.
  • Knowledge of DHA policies and procedures.
  • Skill in following oral and written instruction.
  • Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written.
  • Skill in interacting with people of different social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.

 

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in Information Technology or Business or a related field, and two (2) years of process analysis and improvement; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
