Job Description: The Electrical Shop Quality Control Inspector examines products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications and verifies it's assembled per relevant codes.

Job Duties:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspection/testing on products at various stages of production to ensure that customer specification is being met and company quality standards are followed.
  • Working with part of an electrical team walking down all aspects of the electrical raceways, cabling, and system equipment is being installed correctly for handover on job sites.
  • Work and communicate effectively with the Electrical Pre-Fabrication Manager and electrical staff to facilitate project activities.
  • Must multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Five - ten years of experience in the electrical construction field in a residential, commercial, or industrial environment or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience.
  • Must multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow electrical code manuals, specifications, and blueprints.

  • Must be able to pass a post-offer pre-employment drug screen and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history).

May work with or around typical construction materials and chemicals requiring safety data sheet knowledge.
