Northwest Corp, located in Sioux Falls, SD, is looking for an organized, self-starting individual who desires to build a long-term career with their growing organization.  The Concrete Cutting Estimator and Sales Representative is responsible for estimating concrete cutting projects accurately and generating sales for Northwest Corp. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of concrete cutting techniques, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Estimate Concrete Cutting Projects
    • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and team members to understand project requirements.

    • Perform on-site assessments to determine the scope of work, including project size, complexity, and special considerations.

    • Calculate accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.

    • Prepare detailed project proposals and quotes for clients.

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including contractors, builders, developers, and property owners.

    • Conduct sales presentations and consultations to showcase our concrete cutting services.

    • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring clients' needs and expectations are met.

    • Maintain and expand the customer base through proactive business development efforts.

  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor pricing, and market demands.

    • Analyze market conditions and customer feedback to adjust pricing strategies and service offerings.

    • Provide insights and recommendations to management on improving our competitive position in the market.

  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Keep detailed records of all project estimates, proposals, and sales activities.

    • Provide regular reports on sales performance, project estimation accuracy, and customer feedback.

    • Ensure that all necessary documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies.

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.

    • Act as a point of contact between clients and our operational teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Here’s what you will need to be successful: 

  • Ideally 3-5 years proven experience as a concrete cutting estimator and sales representative in the construction or concrete industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of concrete cutting methods and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proven track record in sales.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
