We are currently searching for an Experienced Hydraulic Crane Operator for a project in the Tuckasegee, NC area (western North Carolina). The Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating a mobile rough terrain crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Operate a Rough Terrain Hydraulic Crane
- Must have minimum of 3 years of experience operating similar cranes
- Must possess a NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance
- Ability to read and understand crane manual and load charts
- Verify the radius on lift plans prior to picking components
- Ability to perform calculations based on load charts
- Performs proper crane movements as directed by riggers through voice or hand controls.
- Basic rigging skills
Work Environment:
Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity, for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.
