Join the Bensonwood/Unity Homes company and enjoy the benefits and security of full-time employment, while going to school one day a week to earn your carpentry certification.

We have partnered with Apprenticeship NH and New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) to combine exceptional classroom instruction with hands-on learning in our own woodshops. This approach gives us the unique ability to hire great talent and immediately help them grow their skills and career with our support.

How does it work?

You “earn while you learn” in this apprenticeship. This three-year program combines 455 hours of classroom instruction at NHTI in Concord NH, along with 6000 hours of hands-on learning at Bensonwood. Our skilled and experienced team members will help you master your trade, setting you up for success and a career where you can thrive. You will work full-time and go to classes one day a week. You’ll be guaranteed wage increases for each year you successfully complete; further supporting your growth and helping you achieve your goals.
