Project Scheduler
ALS of North Carolina is searching for an experienced, detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our NC team. The Project Scheduler will play a key role in planning and scheduling activities on multiple infrastructure projects. This opportunity will allow the candidate to oversee and be directly involved with the various development stages of a project's schedule. By analyzing, monitoring, and maintaining the project's progress, you'll prepare and analyze reports, develop alternative solutions, and support successful project completion.
This is a permanent, full-time salaried position that offers exciting opportunity to play a vital role in success of our projects. The ideal candidate would have some technical or real-world construction experience and is looking to grow their skills, while in this position the candidate would work closely with the Regional Manager, Supervisors & General Foreperson.

American Lighting and Signalization (ALS) provides street lighting and traffic signalization construction, maintenance and emergency response services in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic United States. Our major customers include state departments of transportation (DOTs), investor-owned and municipal utilities, commercial retail land developments and commercial road contractors.
Job Type: Full-Time +, Exempt
Pay: Salary $45K - $58K per year based on experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Daily general duties including, but not limited to:
- Efficient project scheduling coordination.
- Providing detailed analysis of project schedules.
- Understanding of company policies.
- Ability to work independently and interact professionally with Supervisors, Admins, & Regional Manager.
- Prepare progress schedule reports for the Supervisors to analyze, and determine the status of assigned project tasks.
- Assist Supervisors with equipment allocation.
- Host teams meetings as directed by Regional Manager.
- Develop and maintain Excel and Smartsheet reports.
- Attend construction scheduling meetings with Supervisors and provide meeting minutes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Outlook, Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in the use of Pivot Tables and Vlookups, required.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manipulate PDF documents required.
- Technical writing preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to multitask.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills a must.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction project processes, means and methodology.
- Ability to read and understand design and project related documents.

Pre-Screen
