CURRENT OPPORTUNITY:  Commercial HVAC Service Technician

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Seeking commercial technician with a minimum of 2 years of commercial service
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repair on basic split units, hanging warehouse heaters, and package units up to 50 tons
    • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must work independently in a timely manner
    • Must have solid time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Technicians are required to supply their own tools and be physically able to climb ladders and lift/pull 60lbs.
  • Strong work ethic and behavior
  • EPA certification and current TDLR registration
  • First-rate interpersonal and customer service skills, including professional and courteous verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Valid Texas Drivers License with good driving record and continual ability to pass our driving record screening, for insurability purposes
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced, demanding, and/or strenuous environment
  • Ability to work with technological equipment
  • From interview to last day of employment, ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen
  • Continual ability to pass a background clearance verification
  • Neat and clean appearance during working hours
  • Must meet all HVAC codes while working with quality and workmanship

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to:
    • Bend or twist body, 90 degrees in either direction
    • Stand on all surfaces for long periods of time
    • Work in tight, uncomfortable spaces
    • Squat and touch floor with hands
    • Use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools and/or controls
    • Climb ladder, scaffolds and/or poles safely
    • Use repetitive motions
    • Walk and/or move quickly for long periods of time
    • Lift up to 50 lbs., in addition to body weight
    • Reach over head with ease
    • Utilize extension or fixed ladders at heights of up to 50 feet, as needed
    • Complete job with safety in mind for all involved and communicate any issues to the assigned SME that could lead to safety concerns prior to completing tasks
    • Work long hours during peak heating and cooling seasons, as needed
