 Job Summary:

The HR Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with company policies and procedures. They assist in various HR functions and maintain employee records, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Records Maintenance:

  • Manage and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process documentation related to personnel activities such as hiring, promotions, terminations, and employee status changes.

Recruitment Support:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to organize and manage candidate profiles.

Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, orientation materials, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to employee separations, conducting exit interviews, and managing offboarding documentation.

Benefits Administration:

  • Support in benefits enrollment processes and assist employees with inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Coordinate with benefit providers and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee benefit-related documents.

HR Policies and Procedures:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding company policies and answer HR-related inquiries.

Payroll Support:

  • Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll data.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations by staying updated on HR laws and guidelines.
  • Prepare reports and documents as required by management or regulatory bodies.

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an HR department.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

 Education:

  • HS or GED is required
  • Minimum one-year office administrative support experience strongly preferred
  • Human Resources experience a plus.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to walk and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise typical of an office setting such as computers, printers, phone, and light customer traffic.
