Job Title – Superintendent Security/TSS - International

What You Will Do
- Manages and oversees the required security systems that allow field personnel to perform restricted work on US Government international projects.
- Serves as the Senior Construction Security Representative interfacing with the Accrediting Official and OBO as required.
- Develops Standard Operation Procedures and Special Instructions governing the surveillance function for secure construction.
- Monitors the organization for compliance with security requirements.
- Ensures the security integrity of the construction site by developing and implementing the approved Construction Security Plan for the Site.
- Conducts period daily security inspections throughout the duration of the construction effort and document security violations or deviations from the CSP and notify the Accrediting Official.
- Maintains the list of all approved personnel authorized to work on the secure construction site.
- Ensures each person authorized to work on the construction site has been through the approved vetting process, and implements procedures to deny unauthorized site access
- Works with construction firm(s) and subcontractors to ensure security of the construction site.
- Designated as the primary field point of contact with all government oversight agencies.
- Working Conditions – Construction setting, travel required, full time. Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for longs periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 50lbs, talk, hear and occasionally sit. Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights while negotiating tasks at hand in a safe manner to themselves and/or others. Subject to hot, cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location.

What We Expect
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office suite and web-based tools.
Education / Experience - Minimum high school diploma/GED and 10 years experience in the quality control or project management required. Four-year degree in engineering or construction management and 5 years experience preferred. The education/experience requirements may vary depending on specified job requirements.
Certifications, Licenses, etc.: - Must have completed the Department of State Site Security Manager (SSM) certification course. In lieu of this training, the Department of State Construction Surveillance Technician Certification Course may be considered, or the DNI Physical Security Course when coupled with applicable experience. (Should be able to submit certifications upon request and obtain a medical clearance before deployment) Current clearance, or the ability to obtain, a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required. U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance required.
