Warehouse/Equipment/Safety Manager
Seeking a Warehouse/Vehicle/Safety Manager to oversee operations at our Tampa Location. This skilled multitasker will manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. The warehouse manager must achieve receiving and inventory accuracy as well as organize by open projects, coordinate and electronically track equipment routine maintenance or repairs, coordinate safety meetings and gate checks. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency.
- Coordinate with Project Manager to oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
- Review and prepare for deliveries, equipment transport, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity and quality.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management/tidiness, logistics, equipment location/status, maintenance of grounds, and assist project productivity.
- Schedule and oversee the warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
- Organize safety meetings, perform gate checks, maintain vehicle/inventory records, and submit proper paperwork to Office Manager.
- Inspect equipment, tools, machinery, rentals, and MOT supplies regularly, coordinate general maintenance and rental returns when necessary, and keep digital records.
- Meet regularly with Project Manager and Superintendent to analyze productivity needs and develop a system to ensure available inventory for future needs by ordering and picking up supplies.
- Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products/equipment to company jobsites or facilities, communicating with drivers to ensure efficient deliveries.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in loading and towing trailers.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other equipment.
- Working knowledge of computer programs and electronic devices.
- Familiar with equipment routine maintenance needs.
- Experience in managing hourly employees.
- Proficiency with safety procedures and policies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
- Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Warehouse experience.
- Fleetio (Equipment) software experience.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language.
- Experience in construction industry.
Pre-Screen

License & Certifications:
- Valid driver's license required.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred.
Safety
Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance/coordination of equipment and tools, be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time, be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary, be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day, have the endurance necessary to traverse various terrain, be capable of performing job duties throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day, be able to communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and communicate and handle conflict professionally.
