ICI is accepting resumes for a Project Manager - Industrial position. We are looking for technically qualified, highly self-motivated individuals who can work independently and manage project activities throughout the project lifecycle. Honesty, proficiency, and a good work ethic are essential.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, safely support all facets of projects in varying stages of the construction process. Estimating, productivity reporting, preparation of bid packages, equipment and material processing, administrative duties, customer submittals, business development, budgeting, safety auditing, and other day to day functions.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of three years’ construction experience, OR post high school technical training and a minimum of five years’ construction experience, or 10 years verified industrial construction management experience.
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
- Ability to assume responsibility and collaborate effectively with others.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively represent the company in an ethical and professional manner and consistent with our values and mission.
- Valid State Driver’s license, and able to travel to project sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Be knowledgeable of and aggressively adhere to required safety standards and requirements of the company and our customers.
- Cost reporting and projective analysis on a weekly or more frequent basis depending on the project.
- support field teams and managers during all project phases.
- Prepare bid packages and other administrative duties as required (PO’s, submittals, etc.)
- Develop equipment drawings, schedules, submittals, material lists, and as built drawings.
- Ensure complete understanding of agreements and work scopes.
- Assist in compiling cost estimates and proposal preparation.
- Work with field, trades, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers, and customers collaboratively.
- Aggressively perform continuous self-study to maintain a competitive edge in the industry and company’s standards, practices, and product lines.
- Material ordering and verification.
- Assist in providing direction and support to field teams in the installation and execution of contracts.
- Assist in estimating responsibilities as requested.
- Make customer contacts, attend pre-bid events, promote, and generate new customer opportunities.
- Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exhibit technical aptitude and advanced computer skills. Skills should include MS Office (excel, word, power point), MS Projects, Primavera P6 experience helpful.
- Ability to schedule/coordinate projects to meet expressed deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment. Attend and participate in team coordination meetings.
- Willingness to keep current with continuing education as necessary.
- Actively participate in programs and initiatives designed to enhance the overall good of the company, including sister company support as needed.

- This position requires travel to project locations across the Midwest region of the United States. Most travel is planned based on project schedule, although may require short notice to travel to job sites.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Walking includes moving within a project site, including uneven surface/ground.
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Requires climbing, lifting, reaching and grasping.
- The environmental conditions for this position include climate controlled indoor activity to inclement outdoor extremes of cold, heat, dust, wind and various forms of precipitation. Exposure to a variety of noise and equipment vibration.
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in plant and/or customer environments. PPE required when in the plant, yard, customer, or construction areas include:
- Hard Hat
- Safety Glasses / Goggles
- Steel-toed Boots
- High Visibility Vest
- Hearing Protection (designated areas)
- Gloves
- Personal Fall Arrest Harness
