We are currently searching for Pipe Fitters to work an outage project in the Savannah, GA. (this could possibly turn into long-term employment).  

Responsibilities:

• Review drawings and plan piping system routings and equipment installations.
• Measure, mark, cut, thread, grind/bevel, and fit pipe for welders.
• Installation of pipe system underground, above ground, in pipe racks, etc.
• Connection of piping systems per the requirements of the specification and properly documented.
• Flushing and testing pipe systems as required by the specifications.
• Assembly and installation of pipe supports.
• Properly operate hand and power tools.
• Perform safety inspections of work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Capable of working at a sustained pace and produce quality work.
• Must be accountable for conduct and have excellent attendance.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of construction labor experience
• Pipe Fitting experience
• Ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions
• Capable of working at a sustained pace and produce quality work

• Ability to have a flexible work schedule, including working overtime and weekends as needed

Work Environment:

Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity, for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs., stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.
