The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approval.
  • Verify and reconcile purchase orders, delivery receipts, invoices, and statements.
  • Coordinate with project managers and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records related to accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve and streamline accounts payable procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Administrator, preferably in the construction industry and/or associate degree with emphasis in accounting from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience with construction accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, take ownership of tasks, and exhibit a high level of initiative and follow-through.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to function both independently and as a member of a team.
