At CL Construction our Project Manager maintains the final accountability for all assigned projects, starting from the initial project bid to the smiling face of a satisfied customer and receipt of final payment. Working closely with general superintendents, project engineers, project managers and company leadership, the Project Manager ensures that projects progress on time and on budget, and proactively monitors activity to prevent avoidable delays along the way.
It is critical for our Project Manager to be driven and motivated, to work well with others and to represent themselves and the company in a positive, professional manner at all times. The ideal candidate has knowledge of project accounting functions such as managing budgets, tracking team expenses, minimizing exposure on the project, and experience mentoring, leading and developing teams. By maintaining consistent communication with field teams and leadership, the Sr. Project Manager will also aid in the individual development and progression of employees on the team.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Mentoring, leading change and developing others
- Organization and training of departments and teams
- Understanding of Agricultural Construction (Concrete and Millwright)
- Experience with jobsite safety, basic OSHA requirements and standard industry practices
- Bilingual, English/Spanish strongly
- Degree in Construction Management or similar
What do you have to have?
- The desire to lead and be part of a team the consistently meets company expectations
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal right to work in the United States
- At least 5 years project management experience
- Ability to read blueprints and complete limited material take offs
- Professionalism and tact, in person, via email and phone communication
- Computer skills and comfort with technology, preferably to include MS Office and ProCore
- Ability to travel to jobsites for visits and problem resolution as required
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving history
