Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - WTP/WWTP

This position is responsible for assisting our Commercial Building Division, with an emphasis on Water/Waste Water Treatment Plant projects. This is a specialized role that primarily supports onsite staff with scheduling and monitoring timelines for critical path scopes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in baseline scheduling using the Critical Path Method (CPM) in Primavera P6.
  • Must identify and report the impact of performed or delayed work to all necessary stakeholders.
  • Evaluate production progress and recognize possible risks to schedules or budgets.
  • Gather key project information, including lead times, labor constraints, progress updates, delays, etc. from multiple sources, both internal and external.
  • Communicate regularly with field leadership and sub-contractors to determine project status and any projected adjustments/delays.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as directed by management.

 Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3yrs of commercial construction experience.
  • Must have experience with scheduling and monitoring Gantt charts, P6 experience highly preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external partners.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to coordinate several scopes of work simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with water/waste-water treatment facilities is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelors in construction management, construction science, engineering, or related field is preferred.
