We are currently searching for a Surveyor. The surveyor will work to manage and coordinate all survey requirements within project scopes.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build 3D Models utilizing Trimble Business center and AutoCAD
  • Drafting As-builts for close out submittals
  • Work with team to assist in field survey operations when needed
  • Perform level loops and/or traverse loops to verify control elevations and coordinates
  • Must have sound understanding of site calibrations and how to perform them
  • Understand project scope and convey requirements to the Survey Crew.
  • Work alongside Survey Manager to coordinate and manage field crew and schedules.
  • Oversee survey work to ensure safe work environments by complying with the company and/or site-specific health and safety plans.
  • Provide technical expertise on surveying means and methods
  • Train other team members on Morgan Corp best field/office practices for surveying
  • Ability to work in office as well as field

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience Construction Survey or a related field
  • Willingness to travel and work at various locations as needed
  • Self-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality, and productivity

 

Work Environment:

Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions. This position must be able to lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs., stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out and above shoulder, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull. Specific vision requirements include near, far, and color vision.
