Job Description

Want to put your CDL experience to work but still be home every night? B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc. is looking for a full-time Paving Prep CDL Driver/Operator Assistant in our Paving Department.  Qualified applicant must have the ability to operate a dump truck on the road and on job sites in a safe manner. Two years of experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely import/export materials to and from the work site including:  fill, stone, rocks and blacktop
  • Spread stone and back into paver/stone spreader
  • Assist in checking grades
  • Assist with labor duties
  • Perform daily pre-trip inspections

Experience & Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License Required
  • Required:  CDL Class A license
  • Required:  Math skills, ability to read foot rule
  • Preferred:  2 years' construction or paving experience 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
