Job Summary: 

The Human Resource Admin / Intern will be responsible for administrative tasks in the HR department, assisting with recruiting and engagement events.


Essential Functions:
•Screening potential employees resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies
•Organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates
•Posting job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms
•Assisting in the planning of company events
•Preparing and sending offer and rejection letters or emails to candidates
•Coordinating new hire orientations
•Updating company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details
•Assisting the department in other HR related matters


Required Skills and Abilities:
•Ability to handle sensitive information with high level of confidentiality
•Maintain overall good relationship with supervisory, employees
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Effective communication and listening skills
•Attention to detail, highly organized, self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills
•Proficient with MS Office Suite


Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills:
•High school diploma or GED
•College degree preferred or working towards degree in Human Resource Management
•Experience working in an office environment
•Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems)
•Experience in onboarding and processing new hire paperwork including I-9 verification is a plus but not required
