This position is located in White Bear Lake, MN.

Position Description

The primary role of the Tool Order Specialist is to support our field staff through procuring for projects McGough owned as well as third party vendor equipment, tools, and consumables.  They will do this through answering calls and emails from project teams, answer inquiries and questions, handling complaints, troubleshooting problems, and coordinating purchase orders.  They will regularly interface with the order processing team to make sure orders go out in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to prioritize and calmly multi task.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in commercial construction.
  • Member of Laborer, Carpenter, Mason, Cement Mason, or Operator Union
  • Customer Service Orientated
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

Office and Travel

Occasional travel to job sites may be required.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Fulfill jobsite equipment, consumable and tool requests.
  • Coordinate Purchase Orders direct to job site.
  • Creatively problem solve with field leaders to find the right solution for the tool request.
  • Work with inventory management system to enter orders (Wynne)
  • Manage and resolve project team complaints.
  • Provide project teams with delivery and back order information.
  • Review current process, identify improvements, and implement improvement with Tool Order Team.

Occasionally, employee will be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
