Talent Acquisition Coordinator - Sioux Falls Area

Alternative HR provides a wide variety of human resource solutions to small and mid-sized employers, most of whom have no HR professional on staff. We also work with larger employers who outsource HR projects to us, or who need interim and or transitional HR services.  All of our clients need great talent, and we assist them in that endeavor.  That's where you come in!

We are looking to add a Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) to our team. If you have 3 or more years of successful recruiting experience and are great at matching people with opportunities, we'd like to visit with you! We have what we think is the most unique (and enjoyable) 'HR Department' in the Midwest, and we need your TAC skills and talent!

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will be asked to:

  • Work with clients in determining their staffing needs, recruiting strategies, and tactics
  • Creatively post and promote open positions through traditional and non-traditional means
  • Manage applicant tracking software and social media recruiting
  • Manage the applicant experience to meet high expecatations
  • Follow up with applicants; conduct phone screens, interviews, references and background checks
  • Coach and support hiring managers and supervisors
  • Advise clients regarding EEOC and state employment laws
  • Promote and solicit additional recruiting business with existing and potential clients

Qualifications Include:

  • 3 or more years of successful recruiting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed
  • Strong organizational and project management skills necessary
  • Must be highly competent with Microsoft Office, ATS, job boards and social media
  • Confident, professional, positive, with ability to work with deadlines
  • Other HR experience a plus

Pay range for this position is $31-$36/hour.

Primarily requires weekday hours; considerable flexibility, depending on assignments.
